About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team and help build the next generation of music streaming experiences. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create beautiful, performant, and accessible user interfaces used by millions of people across Europe and beyond.

As a senior member of the frontend team, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, contribute to our design system, and drive technical decisions that shape the future of our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using React and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Optimize application performance and ensure accessibility compliance
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
  • Contribute to the team's technical roadmap and architecture decisions
  • Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
  • Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo Client
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Experience working in a remote-first environment
